It is really amazing what apps can do these days. The OCR feature is amazing. It saves a lot of work for me. Looks amazing and functions perfect. best app ever

The OCR is excellent. Good job.

This app is pretty good. It can recognize sideways text and works fairly quickly. However, it seems to have a hard time decoding special fonts. In example, a book title on the cover. Overall, I would recommend this app for daily use. :D

Works very well for small jobs. Quite accurate if you take a good photo and crop it properly. I use it often.

This app has saved me from having to re-type scads of documents.

Its quite useful and convenient for me that I dont have to type my document on computer but what I have to do is just to scan it and the whole sentence come out. The disadvantage is that sometimes it doesnt work that the sentences come with typos.

I like this app it saves me a lot of typing EVEN though sometimes it doesnt read all of the words!

Tis a good app, but seems to have issues with some of the wording, sometimes it gets a completely different letter than what it really is. Still gets it sometimes. Something to add to the app would be for it to copy the text in the order it is, ex: -Example -Example Not -Example-Example That would be nice.

Seriously, could not function w/out this tool. Has changed my work flow as a writer and editor. Purchase it NOW!

I have altered this review based on speedy customer service. After contacting the folks at quanticapps they fixed my issue with a quick response and fix. The OCR doesnt work well on handwritten notes or business cards. But works well enough to save time when extrapolating numbers from text.

Some good reviews. Some bad reviews. Tried it myself, again. Didnt work -- gibberish. OTOH, I had used it before a few times successfully, and a few times with miserable failures. Ive not seen such inconsistency in an app before.

Tried to scan an outlined table of contents. Gibberish. Not even close. Save the 3 bucks. POC.

Even the sample that they give you was scanned incorrect

The OCR is pretty bad, even with a clear picture with good lighting.

Yeah this app is garbage and converts my notes into gibberish

Tried 3 documents. Didnt translate the first two abductee third returned jabbering

Ive tried translating Japanese and French texts to English, and the translations didnt make any sense whatsoever. Very disappointed with this useless app

I hate that you can tell in 2 minutes AFTER paying that this isnt going to work for you. Been using OneNote OCR on Windows which is almost flawless...This, on the other hand, cant even read a screenshot accurately, so lets not talk about anything you might want to convert from the camera. In fact Ill give it 2 stars with the hope of it improving. By the way, why would there be no spell-checker on review? Missing the most obvious feature. Update: now it crashes so it!s back to 1 star.
